Royal St. George |
| 27 holes Links |
18 hole Links |
This classic seaside links course regularly hosts major Championships. The course runs alongside Royal St. Georges and is less than a 10 minutes drive. A wonderful golf course, with generous fairways and large but difficult greens, typically 10 on the stimp. 36 points normally wins!! An Open qualifying course arranged in three loops of 9 holes; The Shore, The Dunes and Himilayas. |
This world famous Open Championship venue is the ultimate challenge and considered the toughest of all Open venues. Expect several 3 putts and the odd blob. Very expensive to play but well worth it, if you have a sadistic streak. Play possible only as two-balls or foursomes. Less than 10 minutes drive. Recently announced as host to 2011 Open Championship. |

Is a very popular golf course of unique design. Harry Colt designed, Walmer & Kingsdown is a cross between classic links and downland, quite hilly in places and with magnificent views across the channel. Always in good condition and very friendly club. |
Another gem ! Open qualifier, regular venue for Home Internationals. Fantastic greens and fairways and always in tip-top condition. 30 minutes away, but again well worth the drive. |

An absolute "must play", tough but fair, links course. Probably the finest greens in the county and, of course, an Open Qualifier. Affordable (just!) and rewarding. Strict dress code. 2 balls or Foursomes only. 10/15 minutes drive. |
Yet another Open Qualifier and a fantastic golf course, again with stunning views. Lots of "run" and intimidating greens. Short Par 3 course attached. |

On what Nick Faldo called “the perfect piece of land” on which to build his first golf course in Europe, Chart Hills is, without doubt, the cream of Kent’s crop of parkland courses. Heavily bunkered with immaculate greens it is a “thinkers” golf course. Very impressive course and clubhouse. 40 minute drive. |
This magnificent setting is one of Kent’s finest. The Carolean Mansion clubhouse was once the country seat of Lord Kitchener (Your Country Needs You!). Belfry style 18th across a lake. Very pleasing on the eye with 40 points a distinct possibility 10 minutes away. |

Enjoys breathtaking views across Hythe to the English Channel. Not long but testy and tight in places. Lovely greens and very enjoyable to play. 20 minutes. |
Set in 160 acres of Kent farmland this course was designed to challenge every standard of golfer. Very pleasant golf course with another 40 point possibility. 15/20 minutes.

Less than 10 years old, but already well established. Not too long and an enjoyable course to play. Higher handicappers will love it. Very picturesque and only a 20 minute drive. |
